YOGA EXERSISE CLASSES:<\/p>

Yoga is beneficial for the body and soul. Regular practice of this exercise makes the body flexible and generates mental peace in a person. Today, it is accepted worldwide as one of the most effective forms of exercise to influence physical as well as psychological balance.<\/p>

At International Academy of Scholars, we understand the importance of yoga, thus host weekly classes for the students as a compulsory activity at school. A team of qualified yoga trainers impart basic yoga knowledge to our students. International Academy of Scholars has incorporated yoga since it was established, whereas the guidelines to incorporate yoga in school education by CBSE was issued in 2015. Having a dedicated yoga room, an allotted time in the timetable, yoga curriculum and experienced faculty, we take yoga training seriously.\u00a0<\/p>

Every year, International Yoga Day is also celebrated at school on 21st June on a large scale, wherein the trainers and students perform yoga concerning benefits to various body parts. Post COVID-19, the trainers have also taught various breathing exercises to the students to boost their immunity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

HEALTH EDUCATION<\/p>

Parents are always more concerned about their children’s academic education, including – reading, writing, and learning. A comprehensive health education program plays a crucial role in a child’s education, from kindergarten to high school. Health education teaches children physical, mental, social, and psychological health (overall well-being). It helps students to make healthy choices and avoid risky behaviors. Health education training mainly focuses on preserving health, avoiding illnesses, and training students to make healthier decisions in their lives.<\/p>

The school emphasizes Health education as it builds students’ knowledge, skills and positive attitudes about health. The IAS has some international standard health education teachers to cater the needs of young people<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

DANCE AND MUSIC<\/p>

Dance and Music education opens doors that help children pass from school into the world around them, a world of work, culture, intellectual activity and human involvement. The future of our nation depends on providing our children with a complete education that includes dance and Music. The school understands the needs of the young mind and hence introduced dance and music classes from class I onwards. Music and Dance are art relished by all ages. Moreover, it has a plethora of benefits \u2013 from enriching language skills, strengthening hand-eye coordination, relieving stress, enhancing creativity to improving memory.<\/p>

At, International Academy of Scholars we train children in both dance and instrumental music. LANGUAGE<\/p>

Learning foreign languages in school has always been productive as it not just imparts linguistic skills but enables the students to explore and learn about related cultures and lifestyles. Learning a Foreign language is all about learning how to truly communicate and connect with others. This incredibly important communication skill can only be cultivated by interacting with people which will help the students in their careers and life.<\/p>

Language is the best weapon to understand different culture, customs and the world as whole for which IAS is going to introduce Foreign Language Class in the school from class I (one) onwards apart from English, Hindi, Assamese and Bodo.
